Tracy MacInnis - 2nd Vice President/Resolution
Tracy has been a self acclaimed “keener / joiner” for most of her life. On becoming Catholic in 2002, she embraced her new religion with great excitement. She was eager to participate in all aspects of church life, finally feeling able to join the committees and groups she had longed to. In 2004, she was asked to join her parish CWL and before she knew it, was President of the St. Bonaventure council. In 2011, she was asked to be North York Region Chair for the Toronto Diocesan Council, and has been on the council ever since. In 2013, she co-chaired the Newsletter with Alice Warford and was voted in as Recording Secretary in 2015. Now, for the 2017-19 term, she is 2nd Vice President& Resolutions Chair.
Tracy was asked in 2013 to be part of a committee to kick off the “Catch the Fire” campaign at the Provincial Convention. And, in 2015, was invited to be part of the Ontario Provincial Council 70th Anniversary celebration planning committee. This past July 2017, their plans came to fruition at the Provincial Convention in Thunder Bay.
Tracy has spent most of her adult life as a wife and mother. She is also a bookkeeper and administrator for a commercial real estate company and a competitive AAA hockey organization, both of which she and her husband manage together. Loving her husband Peter for over 32 years has been easy as he's the most generous, compassionate and spiritual man she's known. He'll go out of his way to help a stranger and family member alike and has spent most of his life volunteering and giving back to the community. How can you not love someone like that? Together, they've had 3 children Cameron, Ian and Kathryn and now they welcome daughter-in-law, Lawren, and one-year old grandson, Charlie, into their growing family.
