Mary Tuccitto - Scarborough Regional Chair
Mary was born in Sicily, Italy and immigrated as a child in 1966. She is married to Paul and they have two grown children, Anthony and Joseph. Being involved and connected with their parish and community has been central to their lives.
Mary is a 13 year member of CWL and in this short time she has held several positions. With her Parish she was Community Life Chair, President, and Past President as well as Chair of the 60th Anniversary of St. Joseph’s CWL Council.
With Scarborough Region she held the position of Education and Health and Communications Chair and with Toronto Diocese she has been Sub-convener for Education and Health, St. Michael’s Scholarship (four years). She is also a facilitator for both the Leadership and Public Speaking and Executive Training Course and was Sub-convener for the 2016 and 2017 Toronto Diocesan Conventions.
Mary currently holds a Shodan (2nd degree black belt) in Matsubayashi Shorin Ryu Karate and is an avid traveler along with her husband.
Her goals for Scarborough Region are to encourage its members to share their God given talents and to celebrate their rich ethnic diversity, thus welcoming new members to join the League and increase its membership.
