Marlin Taylor

     Marlin joined St. Paul the Apostle Parish - Alliston CWL in September 1979 and served as President of St. Paul’s council from 1987 to 1990.
     She served as committee chair on 3 Standing Committees on the Northern Region before serving as Northern Regional Chair from 1996 to 1998.
     She held four positions on the Toronto Diocesan Council from 2001-2009 and was elected as Toronto Archdiocesan President from 2009 to 2011. Upon completion of her term as Past President on the Toronto Diocesan Council, she was honoured with an appointment as Life Member of the CWL.
     From 2011 to 2013 she served as the Education and Health Chair for the Provincial CWL Council and was elected two additional terms as Christian Family Life Chair on the Provincial CWL. She has served as a committee member for Conventions and Catholic Women’s Leadership fundraising campaign.
     Her current parish is St. John Chrysostom Parish in Newmarket where she also assists in various church and CWL activities.
      Marlin was married and has one son who is now married and has three children, making her a proud grandmother. She became a widow in 2019. She continues to work for God and Canada and serves the League wherever there is a need.
